A Wehrmacht Heer Panzer Officer’s Overseas Side Cap Archive 310 mm x 365 mmA fine example of a well preserved early second war German Wehrmacht Heer (Army) Panzer Officers M38 pattern overseas cap, constructed of field gray wool, with fold down scallops to the front and side. The crown, and the front edges of the scalloped side panels feature embroidered silver aluminum piping, indicating the rank of Officer. The front of the cap features a machine embroidered Wehrmacht eagle, constructed of silvery aluminum and dark green
