Germany, Heer. A Dress Bayonet, By Lauterjung & Sohn certificate_of_authenticity The hulk sank in a(Heer Bajonett). A very well preserved Heer dress bayonet, measuring 405 mm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 260 mm long polished magnetic steel blade with a sharpened tip and semi sharpened lower edge. Dual fullers set into the upper half of each side of the blade, extending approximately two thirds of its length. It bears a makers mark near the reverse ricasso of PUMA, SOLINGEN for the firm of Lauterjung & Sohn, topped
