M. Chapoutier Ermitage Rouge ‘Le Pavillon’ 2019 nel Sold in the XIX centuryThe Le Pavillon plot has an area of 4 hectares on soil composed of a thin layer of sediment, resting on a granite subsoil. This vintage comes from the oldest Syrah vines on the estate, between 90 and 100 years old. Vinification is traditional in concrete vats with one or two trappings per day for 4 to 5 weeks.
