Constructed of silvered bronze, loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, with a central target overlaid by a mobile swastika, topped by a Stahlhelm, and flanked by a date of 1933, circumscribed by an inscription of NATIONALE EHREBUNG WETT SCHIESSEN (NATIONAL SHOOTING COMPETITION), the reverse with a raised village scene, above a Httingen coat
