St Erfurt Kia Archive maker marked ABadge with lightening bolts, in tombac, very early "thin wreath" badge by "CEJ" (Juncker), weighs 23. 5 grams, finely detailed, with [ Uffz. Deiss. 4. St Erfurt] had etched into reverse, excellent quality, in very fine condition, and very scarce early version. Footnote: Feldwebel (an Unteroffizier) Deiss was the gunner of a Ju88A 5 bomber which crashed in Norway on July 27, 1941.
