Canyon Series Sculptural Object P07905-P00780 French Bulldog loversThe intense color patterns of these pieces are created by laying out hand pulled cane (small glass rods) in mosaic like patterns. These are placed on a heated marver, which is then heated until the glass rods are brought up to the same temperature as the blowpipe. As the blowpipe is rolled across the marver, it picks up the design onto the core of colored glass. Several more layers are added on top of that gather. The process of adding more layers of
