Victorian Carpet Bag 70s jeans 26 1970s which is a modern XSFabulous mid 19th century, circa 1860s carpet bag in the loveliest colors. Made from a wool carpet remnant, this would have been a travel bag. This is a medium sized carpet bag and probably would have been used for a day trip. You could easily fit a book and a few snacks. It is lined and has one pocket inside. Two hook and eye closures hold the top flap down. The metal clasps does not function. There are also strings inside that you could tie to
