Winter Squall Product:Winter Squall cold worked and slumped artPart of my Seascape Series, this sculpture is a single perspective piece, that is , it has a front and a back, much like a painting. I approach them as paintings, in the tradition of Maine seascapes, where their inspiration comes from. The transparency and fluidity of glass reflects well the movement and majesty of the ocean. Ever changing light conditions add a sense of vitality . Each is named after a ledge off of an island I have known all my life.
