50's Cocktail Hat, Rhinestone Star Beret cotton nurse cap label: made in californiaLate 1940's to early 1950's velour beret. Indented crown with a narrow upturned brim. Wired rhinestone flowers rise on the left front side. Each petal has a clear rhinestone alternating with a gray pearl teardrop. They can be worn up as I have shown them or pushed down flat to the crown. Tucked down between the brim and crown is black netting which is not meant to be worn down over the face. Underneath is covered wire placement prongs for security.
