Filigrana Series - Blue Inkwell A85718 airy fabric ideal for layeringThese pieces are made using traditional Venetian glassblowing techniques. Blue glass canes or glass rods are fused to the outside of a bubble of glass and twisted while the bubble is blown to create a spiral pattern of fine lines or stripes. The bubble is blown into an optic mold which creates a ribbed or scalloped effect on the bubble of glass. Signed by the artist Materials: Glass
